Week Eighteen: January 1st-7th

 New Years Day donuts!

And the parade for a bunch of sick kids :)
 And TWO lost teeth!
Lego Build, always a fun adventure.  And who knows what the munchkin was up to...

A day at Knott's with the Velarde family.
Joey was SO excited to go on Timber Line Twister.

Excelerator! The kids did it and loved it!

Jeremiah's first basketball game.  The kids had fun and are learning well the skills.

Week Seventeen: December 25th-31st

Christmas is on a Sunday!  Joey was sick so he stayed home from church with Daddy.  Micah stole the show when Pastor Dave asked him a questions during church and he gave him the perfect "churchy" answer after at first saying the answer (presents) that Pastor Dave was looking for.  The whole church roared with laughter.
Joey was so excited to give out the gifts that he had purchased for us at the Cubby Store.

We had Christmas dinner with all the grandparents.  It was a nice quiet day.  Joey was sick, so the cousins weren't able to come, but we still had a good day.
The rest of the week was rough.  We dealt with illness during most of it, so we missed our anniversary.  Our dear friend Zeke was lost for about 18 hours in the desert on Wednesday night, so we got little sleep as we prayed.  Great Papa Bob also passed away the same evening, December 28th...He will be deeply missed, but we are at peace that he is no longer suffering and that he is now with the Lord.
