Week Forty-Nine: August 6th-13th

Summer trip to San Francisco and Yosemite!  We started our trip heading to San Francisco to stay with the Mort family.  We spent a few wonderful days exploring the city.  Our first day we took a long all day walk through the city.  We went to China town where we say the fortune cookie factory, Lombard Street, Ghiradelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf and more.  We were EXHAUSTED by the end of the day and had an extremely squishy BART ride back, but it was so fun!  The older kids did a great job with the little ones along the way.

Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil....

The next day we visited the Painted Ladies houses.  They are such a beautiful example of Victorian architecture.

 The Full House house!
Next stop, Golden Gate Bridge!  It was socked in with fog for most of the day, but broke just as we were crossing the bridge!

 Jelly Belly Factory!

 Playing at the Mort's house.

On our way over to Mammoth, we stopped for a quick trip around the valley floor.  Yosemite falls was beautiful!
People built rock sculptures all over!

 Cascades with Grandma and Papa!

Heading to Granite and Gaylore lakes!
Joey was such a champ, hiking the entire way to Granite Lake!  He earned his fish cookie!

A beautiful day at Tenaya Lake, followed by fishing at Tioga!

 Saying goodbye to the condo!
We decided to go to the fish hatchery on our way home!
